Spiro`s Gyros Greek Restaurant in Coronado

Highly recommended for good tasting food and fast service. This place gave us extra fish and free soda to-go.

This place is the real deal if you want a nice juicy gyro. The gyro meat is cooked perfect and tender the flavors are great! The tzatziki sauce was great perfect and not too garlicy. The reason i didn’t give this place a 5 star was because their chicken lemon rice soup had too much egg in it and they dropped the ball on the Greek salad. I loved all the flavors and the toppings on the Greek salad but you can’t eat it with iceberg lettuce. If they made it with romaine lettuce instead the salad would be amazing!! But overall i was pleased with their food!!

Was not very impressed but in their defense, I took the food home so it sat for twenty minutes, but I still prefer some of the other restaurants in that area.

Decent falafel sandwich. Could use a zestier tzatziki. Also, needs improvement on construction of sandwich. Great view of downtown SD.

My wife has been here before, my first time. The food was delicious. I had the beef kabobs, the beef was grade A, tender and perfectly seasoned and cooked. Fair prices. Great view of down town from back seating are!!

Long-time customer here. The food is always great; favorite place to go to for Greek food. Restaurant is clean and follows health guidelines. Staff are friendly and dedicated to keeping their customers safe.

I have been here many times for lunch and really enjoy it. The food is good, and the proportions are generous. It's a little bit awkward when you order, kind of hard to tell where to place your order and what happens from there. The place is clean, and the views from the patio on a clear day or amazing. I would highly recommend for a quick lunch.

Patio right by the dock - check. Big a$$ lamb gyro that was worth way more than what I paid for it (for San Diego...) - check. Hoppy beer on tap - yup! (And check). I can't speak to some of the racial or service issues some have expressed. And I don't want to marginalize anyone's experience. But part of me wants to go back in there and get another gyro and some more baklava...

It's our family go to when visiting Coronado. Good food.

Nice little Greek Cafe right next to the water front in Coronado. Ordered Chicken Kabob plate. Food was pretty good. Customer service was good as well. There is seating out side. You can enjoy your meal with nice weather and great views.

Loved the bed/lamb gyro sandwich! Fish and cops where great as well. Service was good and great little area on Coronado with shops and restaurants.

I ordered Fish Plate and Beef Plate. It was not bad, but not pretty delicious. Especially rice. They used wrong kind of rise and it didn't have enough spices. The price was more expensive than always has similar Mediterranean restaurants.

Great view, good service. Could taste wine b4 ordering. Plenty of food. Delish! Had gyros platter with FF. FF very thin but yummy. All was yummy..brought some home. They gave me xtra tzatziki sauce.👍

I love the food here. I recently discovered the Greek salad with chicken on it. The chicken is seasoned perfectly. I like dipping it in the different sauces. If you sit inside its really cozy there are lots of windows and yesterday it was pouring rain and it was really cool listening to it and seeing it all around you. On a nice day you can sit on the patio the view is beautiful of the water and a lot of pretty trees and flowers sometimes they have live music. Steven is really nice and helpful. All of the staff is friendly.

A preferred place for delicious greek food. Really nothing but great experiences here, so I will be back. The bill was fair for the quality of the food. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.

Very tasty fries and the food came out pretty quick. The service was sick and I liked the experience.

Very nice restaurant. Had a very nice vibe and the food was fresh and tasty. The patio had a fantastic view of downtown. Prices are reasonable compared to nearby restaurants. Would recommend trying this place out.

This place doesn't care about getting bad feed back. Judging by how much they get. Mine is just the same as everyone else's. Sorry if you already ate there.

We ate there today, two Greek salads with chicken. The salads were unapealing: almost as though the contents were not at peak freshness. The sliced chicken we paid an extra $5.50 per plate was dry and terrible tasting. It came to $33 for two salads. I would never return there for another meal, not worth what you pay. The location (next to Peohes) is worthy of a much better restaurant.

We love it here. Whenever we ride from the Old Town trolley station to Coronado, we stop there for lunch.

Bigger menu the expected. Nice seating area both inside and outside with a great view of the Bay! Food was super yummy and authentic. Good portions too! I would recommend!

This is the best place to get Greek food on Coronado!! Everything is so delicious. You can sit inside or outside with a beautiful view of the water and downtown. I usually get the chicken gyro plate. It's a very big portion and I don't always finish. I highly recommend this place!

Great food and good music. Nice atmosphere and prices were reasonable! Lamb chops are excellent and strongly suggested. But the fish and chips are really good as well. Two enthusiastic thumbs up.

Food 3*, cashier/server guy did not even looks interesting the guest came in. Service 1* weather was really good, if you were opening the Patio, it should be little presentable. Dusty, dirty and spider webs...

I love this place , it has great food and even better view of Coronado as well as downtown San Diego. They have Gyros and other meats or vegetarian. Platter or just a sandwich. Draft beer . Love it . 😊

Great food and venue to eat on the patio

My wife and I had a late lunch recently that consisted of chicken kabob and lamb kabob plates plus drinks. Food was very good at reasonable prices and service was friendly and efficient. Enjoyed the great views of San Diego while seating outside in their patio. We will be back when in the area.

Food is great. Staff is wonderful, and u are also right by the water with an amazing view.

Great food. A little more expensive than other Greek food places I've been, but it is right near the ocean in Coronado. Portions were great for my gyro plate. I'll eat here again.

Best food for the price. Other similar places are more Expensive. The owner is a great guy. We drive there from Chula Vista just to enjoy the food and walk around the area. Good combination.

It's a place of HAPPINESS.

The food was great. Didn't like the cashier putting my change down on the counter after I handed him my cash so I doubt I'll be back unfortunately
